Our organization depends upon the generous service of our Board of Directors and Committee members. They have a blast helping us succeed in helping more families thrive.

Construction Committee Chair: Rich Vick [Email]

Oversight and advice on all aspects of construction and site work.

Faith Relations [Email]

Cultivate and grow relationships within the faith community. Seek prayerful support and participation from those who feel aligned with Habitat's mission. Provide information and updates to communities of faith.

Family Services Committee Chair: Ron Garst [Email]

Works to improve the services to partner and homeowner families; provide mentoring through sweat equity, home ownership education, home purchase process, adjustment to new responsibilities and continued partnership with the organization. The committee is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating this aspect of the program.

Finance Committee Chair: Pete Olson [Email]

Oversees the financial planning and budgeting.

Fundraising [Email]

Works to investigate funding opportunities; plans and helps to organize fundraising events; engages the community in fundraising efforts. Plans annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Event.

Board of Directors President: Aaron Miller [Email]

Directs the overall mission of Habitat for Humanity of La Plata County. The Board members provide financial, in-kind and volunteer support.
